Tree protection on site Before the issue of a construction certificate, details are to be provided demonstrating that all trees on the site outside the envelope of the proposed building will be preserved where practicable and to be identified for preservation on the required comprehensive landscape design plan. Those trees are to be protected against damage during the building construction period. Full details are to be included in documentation for a construction certificate application. 22. Street trees removal approval The existing Syagrus romanzoffiana (Palms) street trees (Newcastle City Council IDs 14455, 14456, 14457, and 14458) located on the Wharf Road frontage are required to be removed, subject to arrangements being made for the removal of the street tree by contacting Newcastle City Council’s City Greening Services. All tree removal works are to be carried out by the Newcastle City Council at the developer's expense. Condition reason: to ensure street trees are not removed without approval.

14.
