In accordance with Council’s Schedule of Fees and Charges, a monetary bond/bank guarantee to the value of $1,500 must be paid to Council, prior to commencement of any works including demolition, to ensure the proper protection of the golden ash street- tree located at the front of the site in Belmore Street. The tree will be inspected by Council at completion of the works and the bond released only if the tree is not damaged.

158. All trees adjacent to the site not approved for removal must be protected at all times during demolition and construction, in accordance with the recommendations of the Arboriculture Impact Assessment prepared by Australia Tree Management, dated 20 May 2022 (reference 20211754.3), unless removal of those trees is otherwise separately approved.
123. Two (2) bottlebrush street trees (Tree numbers 4 & 5) located on the nature strip at the front of the site in Lyons Street must be retained and protected in accordance with AS4970 and the recommendations of the Arboricultural Impact Assessment (AIA) report by TALC dated 6 May 2021.
6. A monetary bond or bank guarantee to the value of $2,000 is required to be lodged to Council to ensure the proper protection of the street trees. The trees will be inspected by Council at completion of the works and the bond released only if the trees are not damaged.
