98. BASIX An Occupation Certificate must not be issued unless accompanied by the BASIX Certificate applicable to the development. The Principal Certifier must not issue the Occupation Certificate unless satisfied that selected commitments have been complied with as specified in the relevant BASIX Certificate. NOTE: Clause 44 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment (Development Certification and Fire Safety) Regulation 2021 provides for independent verification of compliance in relation to certain BASIX commitments.
