Storage and Disposal of Waste Materials during Ongoing Use During ongoing use of the premises: a) An adequate number and size of bins must be put on the premises for the storage of any waste that is generated (including for recycling). b) All garbage and recyclable materials generated from the premises must be stored wholly within any approved storage area and must not be stored outside the premises (including any public place) at any time. 2. Irrigation. To ensure satisfactory growth and maintenance of the landscaping, a fully automatic drip irrigation system is required in all landscaped areas. Waste Management – Comply with Approved WMP Bayside Council Page 83 of 87 DA-2024/169 a) The approved Waste Management Plan, shall be complied with at all times during use and operation of the premises, and b) A sign shall be erected within or adjacent to the garbage room encouraging residents to recycle and not place recyclables into waste bins. Details demonstrating compliance with the requirements of this condition are to be submitted to the satisfaction of the Principal Certifier prior to the issue of the Occupation Certificate. REASON To minimise adverse impacts to the locality.

88. Waste management for ongoing use During ongoing use of the premises, all waste must be separated, stored and disposed of in accordance with the approved waste management plan. In addition: a) Organic waste must be disposed of by compost or through food organics collection as detailed in the amended Waste Management Plan. During ongoing use, the on-site disposal of organic waste must not have an adverse impact on the use of adjoining land. Condition reason: To ensure the lawful and sustainable disposal of waste.

1. To accommodate food organics, the following provision of bins is required a. 1 x 1,000L waste bin, emptied daily b. 6 x 240L food organics bins, emptied daily DA-2024/374 20 c. Either 4 x 240L recycling bins or 1 x 660L and 1 x 240L recycling bins, emptied daily Condition reason: To ensure resource recovery is promoted and local amenity protected during construction.
